NOT READY AT ALL..
Not a great piccy as I was trying to get through the fence and save walking all the way round.
The photographer suddenly decided it was a great opportunity, took a photo, and every one started whistling and cheering...I nearly died of embarresment. Still ! it made everyones day.

never been birched but looks inviting being made to return the birch to its waiting post
The Convent Whipping
The nuns of the convent having completed their work, Marian was delivered to the town prison to serve the remaining two months of her sentance. The Reverend Mother left instructions with the jailers that Marian was to be whipped once a week, except for her final week, during her incarceration as a reminder to her that the powers of the Convent reached far beyone it's walls. The jailers carried out the request with relish.
